Throughout the month of June, cities across the country are hosting parades and other events to support, uplift, and celebrate the LGBT community. First, we watched Selkirk the orange cat steal the hearts of millions during his appearance at Spokane Pride, and now another furry friend helped celebrate the season at the Happiest Place on Earth.
On June 17, Disney enthusiast @sergiosdadjokes shared a video of the sweetest meeting between Disney characters and a very special service dog at Disneyland’s Pride Night celebration. The Saint Bernard was dressed up as the perfect cartoon canine, and the Pixie Hollow pixies could hardly contain their joy!

This sweet moment was so perfect that it nearly looks choreographed! The massive dog plays the role of Nana perfectly, from her breed to her bonnet, but no one is happier to see her than the pixies of Pixie Hollow. After all, Tinker Bell is a personal acquaintance of Nana’s from their adventures in Peter Pan, so it’s only natural that she would be excited to see her furry friend.
“And the pixies were unproductive for the rest of the day,” one commenter joked. That’s so realistic! Not even these magical pixies can resist a Saint Bernard’s sweetness, and who can blame them?
While the pixies aren’t usually roaming around Disneyland like they are in this video, they played an important role in the Pride Night celebration thanks to their rainbow-colored outfits. Clearly, the Disney-loving service dog and her human came prepared to meet the pixies, but they couldn’t have guessed just how she would steal the world’s hearts in the process.
Dogs at Disneyland
Even though this happy dog may look like a paid employee in her irresistible costume and love of the spotlight, she’s a dedicated service dog who came dressed to impress. Only service dogs are allowed in Disney parks (not even emotional support dogs can enter), though these hard-working canines often have fun right alongside their humans.
They deserve a day of fun at the Happiest Place on Earth, just like this Saint Bernard beauty. After all, that’s exactly what Disney Parks are all about!
