This was one dog mom that was hopping mad! If you’ve ever wondered exactly what kind of trouble your dog can get into, you might want to take a look at a video of a Rottie who had a very hare-y surprise in her mouth. The dog had somehow trapped a poor bunny in her mouth. And she wasn’t going to let the poor bun go at all.
Dogs always find new ways of surprising you, don’t they? It’s just not everyday that your dog has a live rabbit in their mouth.

Evelyn must have a taste for bunnies because she snapped one right up. In the clip, it seems like the little one is alive, but probably not very comfortable. The Rottweiler had her trapped! It forced the dog’s mama to do some quick thinking. She had to get the poor bun out of there — ASAP.
“Open your mouth,” the woman commanded. But the Rottie wasn’t ready to let go of her prize just yet. She kept her lips firmly closed!

You can even see the rabbit’s little nose poking out of the Rottie’s mouth. And you can see the little one’s arms and legs when the dog mama pulled back her dog’s lips. Again there’s never a dull moment with dogs.
“Peter cottontail!” the woman joked in the video’s caption.
People in the comments section wanted the bunny to be free — ASAP.
“These bunnies have no survival skills at all,” wrote one person.
“The wittle nose poking out,” someone else lamented.
“The fact that she headed to the door like she was just gonna casually bring her new friend inside,” joked another person.
“Typical Rottweiler. I know they know your command, they just pretend to not hear you,” someone else chimed in.
Many people were very concerned about the welfare of the rabbit. Thankfully, the little one is a-okay. In fact, an update on the rabbit showed that he was perfectly fine.

“Benny the bunny is fine so far,” the woman said in a second clip. “He’s not injured or anything.”
Whew, what a relief!
