Watching dogs run around playing with their favorite toy balls is about as great a pastime as one could possibly hope for. And if anything, it is certainly the cutest!
Just take Koda, the most adorable little mini Australian Shepherd you’ve ever seen, when he gets to play with his brand-new Rainbow Ball at the park for the first time. To say that watching this is total cuteness overload is a vast understatement!
It all started at the toy store, where precious little Koda first spotted a whole bunch of rainbow balls. Next thing he knew, his human mama was picking one out just for him. And of course, he instantly loved it!
A few days later, his humans thought it would be a good idea if little Koda could go to the park and play with his ball in a nice open space.

So, they all hopped into the car and took a trip to the park where Koda began having the time of his life!
He was so happy chasing his ball around the field, he just couldn’t get enough! He truly was a happy little boy, living his best life.
Unsurprisingly, Koda has previously enjoyed playing with a ball. In this other video, his humans give him a herding ball that’s even bigger than he is, and he manages to show off some pretty impressive herding skills while once again having an absolute blast!
Now, while Koda does seem ever so slightly less enthusiastic playing with this ball than he did with his new rainbow one in the other video, this little guy clearly loves playing with balls that allow him to enjoy all the thrills and fun of herding.
That’s only fitting. Australian Shepherds are herding dogs, after all. So, it’s no wonder that little Koda is just as enthusiastic as can be when he gets to herd something; it’s practically a birthright and a calling for this little guy.
And thankfully for us, it’s also incredibly cute to watch!
