Some souls in this world just require a lot of attention. And that is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it can actually be an incredibly cute thing. Just take the precious little octopus in this video, for instance.
All this adorable little creature wants is to play with his human caretaker. However, she is busy trying to clean his aquarium space. But that doesn’t really matter to this little aquatic cutie.
They just want to play and have fun, kind of like an underwater puppy, but with eight tentacles instead of four paws, LOL.
At the start of this video, this human caretaker notes, “This is what it is like trying to work with an octopus.” From the get-go, as soon as she is in the water, scrubbing this little creature’s aquarium habitat, this tiny tentacled baby is clamoring for her attention.
At first, this little octopus wraps all of their adorable little tentacles around her hand, begging her to play with them. Since she has work to do, she tells this little cutie that she is too busy to play at that moment.

The little creature then tries to get her attention by grabbing onto her shoulder, nuzzling next to her, but she is still busy, so she shrugs the little octopus off.
Then the tiny aquatic creature retreats a little bit and reaches out to her with their tiny tentacles, as though to ask, “Well, can we hold hands, at least?”
Finally, the caretaker relents. She gives the tiny octopus her hand, which the little creature pulls closer until they basically have this woman’s entire hand all to themselves.
Octopuses Are Remarkably Intelligent Creatures
It’s pretty remarkable how that octopus was able to get their caretaker to do what they wanted.
This is not surprising when you consider how intelligent these creatures are. Octopuses have been known to display an incredible amount of intelligence in a variety of ways.
There are recorded instances of an octopus picking up two halves of a broken coconut and using them as a makeshift shield, playing all kinds of games with caretakers and scuba divers, as well as navigating complex mazes and escaping from various aquarium tanks.
The adorable little octopus in this video definitely demonstrated their creative and playful nature when they figured out how to get their caretaker to stop focusing on her job and direct their attention to them.
