It’s that time of the year when kids everywhere are spending time outside in the pool, running through the sprinklers, and playing with all kinds of different water toys. Oftentimes, our pets enjoy all of those activities just as much as our kids do, as you’ll see in this video that Megan Notarantonio shared on TikTok at the end of June.
Megan’s Staffordshire Bull Terrier discovered the Slip N Slide, and to say she was excited about playing on it would be an understatement. Watch on to see how much fun she’s having; it’s making all of us smile!

I don’t know about you, but I watched Megan’s video at least three times. It made me want to go out and buy our dog a Slip N Slide! Dog zoomies when they’re excited are the best!
Commenters loved watching this video. @teagan.vickers said, “Staffys are hands down the BEST dogs,” but @Crbex joked, “Staffies are unhinged LOL!” @JoJo was spot on when she shared, “ALL dogs should get to feel this pure joy and happiness!”
@Jo Calvo pointed out, “She’s living her best life, Meg!” and Megan replied, “She enjoyed it more than the kids LOL!”

Are Staffordshire Terriers and Pit Bull Terriers the Same?
When I first watched this video, I immediately thought that the dog was some kind of bull terrier, and probably a Pit Bull. Pit Bulls get a bad rap; many people think they’re highly aggressive, angry, or even dangerous dogs. We currently have a Pit Bull, and she is the sweetest dog we’ve ever had, not to mention a big baby!
A few commenters referred to Megan’s Staffy as a Pit Bull, so I thought I’d clear up some differences between the breeds. A to Z Animals explains the main differences between the two as, “Size, color, temperament, and the shape of their face. Pitbulls are much larger and taller than Staffordshire Terriers. They also have a lean and muscular build and various colors and markings.”
Their temperaments are different as well. Staffies are much more chill than Pit Bulls, “They are energetic and boisterous and love to play, yet are eager to please. They are sometimes nicknamed “nanny dogs” because of their patient and caring attitude towards children, Staffies tend to be well-behaved with dogs and other animals that they know but can be wary of dogs they don’t know. In these situations, they can attack if they feel as though they are threatened.”
While my family is a fan of Bull Terriers, they are not for everyone. That’s why it’s important to do your research before bringing one home to learn what’s good and bad about them. This will help you determine if they’d make a good fit with your family and if you can meet their basic needs.
