It’s safe to say that most dogs love going to the park, but what they don’t like is when it’s time to leave. Frankie is a cute little Pug that enjoys her days at the park with mom, but when it’s time to go home, Frankie has an adorable way of trying to avoid leaving.
Watch on to see how Frankie tries to ‘hide’ when mom tells her they have to go. Make sure your sound is on so you can hear Frankie’s mom try to explain to her that she can still see her…I think Frankie really thought she was camouflaged!

I laughed when I read what Frankie was probably thinking in the video’s caption, “If I become the plant… they can’t make me leave.” I think she truly thought that she was out of mom’s sight!

Viewer Reactions to Frankie the Pug’s Attempt to Hide
People loved this video! Viewers left nearly 6 thousand comments, and some of them were cracking everybody up. Like the commenter who got almost 35 thousand likes when they joked, “Girl, you ok? Why are you talking to a plant like that?!?” @moonchild agreed, “Ma’am, you’re talking to a plant LOL!”
@jarethebear1 pointed out, “When you say, ‘you’re not camouflage,’ she gives that look like ‘How bout now?’ LOL!” @The Voice shared, “Someone said there was a dog in this post. Buggered if I can see it…” @Brianna Regina added, “I saw a dog, then suddenly nothing.” @whitney_dennise was on the same page, “I’d be inconsolable if I ever lost my dog in the park like that! One minute he was there, then *poof*” @Mastercard joked, “Frankie has left the chat.”
If your dog is like Frankie and not a fan of leaving the park when it’s time to call it a day, you might need to bribe, or ‘encourage’, them with treats to get them to go…but not just any treats.
A Lick of Sense explained, “We’re talking cheese, hot dogs, something your dog never eats and goes bananas for (incidentally, some dogs really like bananas). You won’t need a lot of it, but you’ll want many tiny pieces. Bring that with you to the dog park in a safely closed bag or pouch, so that it doesn’t cause issues with the other dogs present.” Just like with kids, sometimes bribery is the quickest way to get things done!
