Cats, without a doubt, have some of the most particular personalities of any living creature. They like their space and are very particular about what it is that they will and will not allow.
Unsurprisingly, our feline companions also have a flair for the dramatic. Perhaps that is why it is not so surprising to see a cat reenacting the iconic ending of Titanic in a bathtub.
People can debate all they want if there is enough room on this life raft, but this cat makes it clear that when it comes to them and their human dad, there is only enough room for one of them.
This video’s caption states: “If my cat and I were on the Titanic.” As you can see, this little feline is snug inside their little life raft, floating around in the tub.
All of a sudden, a desperate hand reaches up out of the water, asking for help. The hand slowly moves towards the cat’s raft and tries to come aboard. Is there room for two?

It does appear that this cat could slide over a little bit, and that both of them could fit. However, that is not an idea that this feline is willing to entertain. They promptly swat the hand away with their paw, unwilling to share their space.
This hand tries several more times to board the cat’s raft, but gets shut down, with the cat slapping it away with their paw, every single time.
It turns out that this cat, who goes by the name of Ringo, really “loves” his personal space. And as this other video shows, Ringo’s need to protect his personal space extends beyond his dad’s hand trying to grab a spot on his tub raft.
You see, Ringo also has a feline sibling, a gorgeous cat named Mango, who “also loves Ringo’s personal space.” However, when Mango tries to enjoy that personal space with him, Ringo has zero qualms about giving Mango the paw as well.
We think it’s safe to say that sharing simply isn’t in the cards for Ringo, LOL. But who knows, maybe if Ringo’s dad and his feline sibling keep on trying to instill the notion that sharing is caring into him, one day he will become more generous.
Or maybe Ringo will just get so much practice at slapping everyone away with his paws that he will become a righteous paw-fu master!
