“Erase, erase, erase”, Flavio Manzoni begins the presentation of his Amalfi with a quote from Achille Castiglioni. “When we started working on this project, I had a clear goal: to design a car that expresses maximum purity with as few details as possible.” The lines of the side develop a sharp wedge theme, with taut surfaces that capture the light and refract it in an almost liquid way. The rear light clusters, concealed in essential graphic cuts, refer to the language of classic Ferraris while being part of an ultra-modern visual vocabulary. “We wanted to bring a monolithic object to the road, almost a sculpture that was elegant on the outside but sporty on the inside,” explains Manzoni. In this context of style, the rear diffuser also becomes an artistic gesture: the integration of the mobile wing, capable of changing shape according to driving dynamics, is confirmation that form and function can coexist in perfect balance. The launch colour, Costiera Green, evokes the marine shades of the Amalfi Coast: “a bright teal green that enhances the dialogue between curves and edges, a perfect colour for this car”, concludes Manzoni.
