Trader Joe’s fans are in luck this Independence Day. That’s because the store has announced that it will be open for the holiday. The announcement was made via a statement shared to the company’s website, explaining that the store would be open for business on Friday, July 4, 2025.
That means shoppers can enter into the store to shop for themselves, or utilize third-party shopping services like Instacart where they are offered.

What are Trader Joe’s July Fourth Hours
Just because they are open, doesn’t mean it will be business as usual for the retailer. According to the company, they will only be open for a short time on Friday.
“Be sure to pick up your Pretzel Hamburger Buns, Chuck, Brisket & Sirloin Beef Patties, Organic Uncured Grass Fed Beef Hot Dogs, and Strawberries & Cream Cloud Cake early for your Independence Day celebrations,” they wrote in a statement shared to the website. “All Trader Joe’s stores are open until 5PM on Friday, July 4th, so that our Crew Members have a little extra time to get ready fireworks, family, and friends!”
It sounds like shoppers and employees alike are in for a treat on Friday, since the store will only be open for a short time.
