Animals are much more loving and resilient than people give them credit for. Rescue pets can be endlessly loving and forgiving despite spending months in the animal shelter, and farm animals often share deep bonds with their closest friends. There’s just so much to appreciate about our four-legged friends.
Every now and then, though, we meet a special animal like Blossom the baby cow. She was born on July 1 at @nikkidaniellle’s farm, where she was immediately taken in and adored for exactly who she is. Although she was born with deformities and was immediately rejected by her mother, Nikki and her family have been helping the newborn calf thrive.
She’s blowing everyone’s expectations out of the water at only a few days old, though Nikki’s first video of the special calf shows her at just 12 hours old.
@nikkidaniellle She’s about 12 hours old in this video 💕 #farmlife #cattletok #farmtok #cows #easttexas
What a beautiful new baby! Even though she got a bit squished while being born, she’s a sweet and gentle soul who’s crushing expectations left and right. She has no idea just what a little warrior she is!
Nikki and her fans all have such wonderful perspectives about this unique baby calf and her future. One commenter had everyone smiling when she wrote, “She’s unwrinkling. Think of her as one of those shrink-wrapped couches from Amazon. She’ll get her shape.”

LOL! While Blossom hasn’t had any vet appointments yet, viewers are sharing happy stories of their own special baby animals that give Nikki even more hope for the baby cow’s future.
“We had one that came out just like that!” another commenter wrote. “After being out when he turned a year old, everything straightened out, and he was the happiest bull we ever had.” That’s incredible!
Just a few days after Blossom was born, she’s already looking so much stronger. She’s doing well with walking and feeding, and she’s stealing everyone’s hearts in the process!
@nikkidaniellle Day 4! I’ll post a feeding video this evening! #farmlife #cattletok #farmtok #cows #easttexas #fyp
Look at her go!
Viewers notice that she looks a bit lonely, but the good news is that the other calves are showing more and more interest in the newest member of the herd. She’ll need to be kept by herself for just a few months while she’s bottle fed, but soon she’ll be ready to meet even more new friends!
Blossom is beating all the odds and taking the world by storm. We may not know what her future holds, but we do know that she has an incredible team of friends, family, and fans supporting her every step of the way.
