If you watch a lot of dog videos on TikTok, you’ve probably come across this French Bulldog named Walter Geoffrey. Walter is something of a dog celebrity, best known for being incredibly vocal. Some even say he’s the most vocal dog they’ve ever seen!
Walter recently got a new baby brother, though his name hasn’t been shared yet. In this video, Walter’s mom explains that she got the new pup as Walter’s very own “emotional support animal”, and Walter wasted no time putting the puppy to work! Poor Walter! Even though this really cracked us up! Walter’s mom said in the video’s caption what Walter would say if he could talk, “I just have a lot of feelings, and I need to be heard.” The puppy did a great job just listening and not joining in!

People had a lot to say about Walter’s antics. @Loretta got nearly 10,000 likes when she pointed out, “The support animal needs a support animal now. LOL!” Walter’s mom replied, “I would agree, except I’m putting my paw down. No more pets.”

Why Are Frenchies So Vocal?
Frenchies are known for being pretty vocal, and Pawscessories explains why, “As a breed, French bulldogs are more vocal than others. They’re more expressive and communicative while also having breathing troubles which adds to the different noises they make.”
They go on to say that Frenchies are vocal for several reasons. It could be that they want attention, because the behavior has been rewarded in the past, separation anxiety, excitement, they’re bored, or they are over dramatic.
We think it’s pretty clear that Walter falls into that last category; he really is very dramatic!
