As adorable as it is to see two nearly identical dogs living life side by side, my favorite canine combo is the big-and-little duo. Watching my 75-pound Siberian Husky mix bonding with his 15-pound Chihuahua mix brother has unlocked a level of cuteness I didn’t even know existed, which is why I couldn’t help but watch again and again when I saw @groot_and_friends’s priceless July 5 TikTok video.
In the now-viral clip, Raava the wolf dog shows just how much she adores her pint-sized foster siblings. The newborn puppies, including brave girl Hash Brown, are just as interested in their big sister, despite her massive size. The way Raava sniffs and paws at the baby is enough to make anyone melt, but Hash Brown’s bravery is ‘paw-sitively’ adorable!
@groot_and_friends Raava is a little too rough with the foster pups to put them together but she’s trying her best. Meanwhile Hash Brown is being so brave! #fosterpuppy #puppy #puppytiktok #czechoslovakianvlciak #czechoslovakianwolfdog #dogsoftiktok
What a sweet big sister! Saying that this wolf dog was excited to meet her new friend was an understatement. Raava’s tongue may be larger than her face, but this tiny foster puppy couldn’t care less!
“Hash Brown!” one commenter began. “You win the Internet. That’s the cutest puppy name I’ve ever seen.” You can say that again! As sweet (and salty) as her name may be, it’s her brave demeanor that has me smiling from ear to ear.
If you ask me, this tiny puppy has no idea just how big her foster sister is! Or perhaps, she just doesn’t care. Whatever the case may be, they really are a match made in heaven. Just like another commenter said, Raava is “trying so hard to be gentle.”
Hash Brown isn’t the only puppy to feel brave. Soon enough, the whole litter was bonding with the massive wolf dog!
@groot_and_friends Who’s gonna be the one to tell Raava that Hash Brown and her siblings are leaving for their new foster this week 🥺 #fosterpuppy #czechoslovakianvlciak #czechoslovakianwolfdog #puppy #adoptme #puppylife #fyp
As priceless as this moment is, it’s also bittersweet to know that the babies will be moving to their new foster home this week. They were brought to rescue immediately after birth, because their mama was unable to care for them while recovering from complications after having eight puppies.
The four rescue puppies you see here are Baked Potato, Poutine, Tater Tot, and, of course, Hash Brown. Of course, their other four siblings have spud-themed names, too!
They will be available for adoption through the Humane Society of Hobart, Indiana, when they’re old enough, so be sure to keep an eye on their website and social media if you want to give one of these pups a loving forever home.
