There are so many ways to help rescue animals, whether you choose to work full-time at an animal shelter or donate your spare pet supplies through a fundraiser. It doesn’t take much to make a difference for four-legged friends in your area, though the greatest difference someone can make is by adopting a pet themselves.
To help potential adopters fall in love from the comfort of their own homes, some animal rescues like SISCA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center in Dayton, Ohio, feature pets on the daily news. On July 3, the Ohio rescue brought a feisty adoptable kitten named Pac-Man to the studio of Dayton 24/7 Now, where the cat proceeded to break loose and wreak havoc—all while the cameras were running.
The news anchors couldn’t contain their laughter while the kitten ran wild, and it’s easy to see why!
What a little stinker! This hilarious rescue kitten had everyone laughing with glee, especially news anchor Alex King, who was in the middle of a story when the chaos occurred. That’s live TV for you!
Pac-Man may be named after one of the most iconic classic video games, but he should have been named after a racing game, like Mario Kart, instead. Whatever this speedy kitten’s name may be, he sure made his mark during his time in the studio.

One video viewer joked that the rescue “Should have named him Forrest” after Forrest Gump. That would be the sweetest kitten name! Not only is it a versatile name that can remind you of both nature and a beloved movie character, but it would also give his forever family the chance to say, ‘run, Forrest, run!’
Even though Pac-Man was there to be featured for a much more laid-back spotlight on pet adoption, he still got the job done with his studio escapades. As of only a few days later, this adorable white kitten is no longer listed on the SISCA website!
Even though this speed racer has been adopted, there are many other cats and kittens in the Dayton area looking for forever homes. If Pac-Man inspired you to consider adoption, please do!
