It’s no secret that Golden Retrievers love the water, but we’re pretty sure that there’s not a Golden around who loves it more than Tucker. Tucker’s mom and dad closed their pool for the summer season last year, and ever since then, Tucker’s been impatiently waiting for them to open the pool back up, and it’s finally time!
Watch to see Tucker’s adorable face when his mom asks if he’s ready for them to open the pool…you can see the instant excitement! The action that follows will put a smile on everybody’s face!
@tuckerbudzyn The wait is finally over ☀️ #goldenretriever #poolparty #dogsoftiktok
That is one pool party that we all want to be part of! Tucker and his son Todd look like they’re having the best time ever, and we want in!

Commenter Reactions to Tucker’s Pool Excitement
Not surprisingly, Tucker’s reaction to the first pool fun of the season went viral, racking up nearly 11 million views, almost a million likes, and close to 8 thousand comments. People loved it!
@Jenna joked, “IDK…I’m still not convinced they like to swim. I’m going to need more content so I can decide.” @jwalk53 added, “I can’t believe you wouldn’t build him an indoor pool…”
Commenter @Misstress pointed out, “The wait is OVER. Did you see the smile when he heard the question!? LOVE!” @Kayla Henderson loved it too, “The way his face lit up when you said it’s time to open the pool!!!” We also agree with @tara..beth who said simply, “This makes my heart so happy.”
@Marianna Sosa shared, “It’s the dogs’ pool period. The humans may just watch but not join the fun…the pool is off limits for the humans!” @thee qball asked, “Do the dogs let you guys swim??? LOL!” to which Tucker’s mom replied, “Sometimes ha ha!”
It’s so fun to watch our fur babies splash around in water! Even if your dog is a pro like Tucker in the pool, it’s still very important to supervise them while they’re playing, just like you do with kids. Accidents can happen, and if you’re there when one does, you have a higher chance of helping them avoid a major injury or worse. And Tucker doesn’t have time for an injury; it would cut down on the time he has to enjoy the pool this summer!
