Looks like someone needs the seventh inning stretch! One Pug parent couldn’t stop laughing when they looked over and saw their pup’s adorably bored face during a recent baseball game. The pup was not feeling the action! Guess she’s not really a baseball girl.
The clip is a good lesson for all of us — your dog might not actually enjoy all your favorite pastimes. Unfortunately, this outing wasn’t a homerun.

Biscuit is a lot of things, but a baseball fan isn’t one of them. That became all too clear at a recent Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners game. The Pug was totally not impressed with the game that day, despite being all dressed up in her very own jersey!

Maybe the game was zero-zero — oh, or maybe the Pug was thinking about the amazing nap she was going to take when she got home! Either way, the pup was ready for the game to be over. Only a few more innings to go!
“She is so sleepy,” her human wrote in the video’s text overlay. Let’s get this pup a dog bed to nap in — STAT!
Dogs at Baseball Games
Now obviously not all dogs will be as bored as Biscuit here. She’s just not a sports girl! Many teams throughout the MLB will host dog-friendly games where fans can bring their fur-besties. Check with your local Major League Baseball team to see upcoming dates!
There are some things to keep in mind before bringing your pup to the game, however. Consider if your dog is old enough to be around other dogs and humans. Typically this is about 4 months old, but it’s up to your judgement.
Also make sure your dog is up-to-date on their vaccinations. They should be in relatively good health and can get themselves up and down several flights of stairs. Dogs that are leash-trained and not reactive will also do better at the game. As will dogs that are okay with crowds and loud noises.
The most important thing is to know your dog and what they can handle. It’ll make the game more enjoyable for everyone.
