On June 8, however, a rabbit mom who goes by @sleepyforestdweller on TikTok wandered into the sweetest surprise. She and her partner found an abandoned pet bunny while walking in the woods! The poor rabbit seemed scared, but he was also friendly and grateful to be saved—and that was just the beginning.
Not even this rabbit’s rescuer, who dabbles in divination, tarot, and the psychic arts, could have predicted this life-changing encounter!

What a relief that this abandoned bunny was rescued by someone who knows exactly how to care for him! As she explained in the video, domestic rabbits cannot survive in the wild, and this little one was already so scared. We can only imagine how grateful and relieved this rabbit must be to be safe and sound at home again.
“It’s probably an Easter bunny that has been dumped,” one sad commenter hypothesized. “It’s around that time, and they are growing up. People adopt rabbits for their kids and realize they aren’t easy first pets.”

That’s heartbreaking! No animal should go to a home just to be abandoned weeks or months later, but that is the tragic reality for lots of rabbits, and even chicks, after Easter. This rescue bunny‘s new lease on life is yet another reminder that animals are living beings, not gifts!
Sadly, this little rabbit endured even more than being left to fend for himself in the woods. A vet appointment revealed more about his past, but also put him on the path toward recovery.

How can this sweet rabbit still be so loving and trusting of humans after all he’s been through? It’s a miracle that he’s safe and that he found his way to a couple who already have a bunny at home, but the biggest miracle of all is that his spirits are so high. That’s the power of love!
