A day in the life of a baby animal is basically a total cuteness overload highlight reel happening in real time. Just take this adorable video from the San Antonio Zoo, for instance.
It shows Tupi, the baby capybara, enjoying all the wonders of “Happy Capybara Appreciation Day.”
Unsurprisingly, it is an absolute gold mine of baby animal cuteness, and we think it’s safe to say that little Tupi will steal the hearts of everyone who watches this video!
To start things off, this adorable little creature is having a snack with her mom. Now, if all this little baby capybara did in this video was munch on some tasty vegetables with her mother, it would be too cute for words.
However, Tupi takes things to the next level because she decides to go inside their vegetable bowl while munching, and the goal is bigger than she is! Isn’t that just too cute to comprehend? We are pretty much done for the day after seeing that!

But wait, there’s more! Later on in the video, Tupi is taking a nap when a crow comes over and decides to start giving her a free back and head massage.
Or maybe that crow was just being incredibly rude, invading her personal space? We can’t really tell, but it certainly made for a very cute moment!
And of course, this adorable little baby capybara enjoys playing with her mom, which includes snuggling with her for some adorable cuddles.
Quite comically, she also has a little run-in with the squirrel, where they both startle each other and the squirrel runs off while Tupi seemingly tries to shrug it off, acting like nothing has happened, LOL.
As this other video shows, the capybaras at the San Antonio Zoo also get to enjoy some fun aquatic adventures, thanks to the little river that is part of their habitat.
They get to enjoy plenty of splashing around with each other, as well as getting to just chill out and float around in the water. And watching them hop out of the water like they are excited bunnies is as adorable as can be!
