Ok, people, I need to go out and get a baby crow… and a Border Collie, which is fine because I want all the animals, but not in a creepy hoarder kind of way. I want them in a Dr. Doolittle way where they all just surround me and communicate with me… and they don’t eat out of the litter box or bring lizards in from outside. They’re all just well behaved and adorable!
Just look at the confused baby crow in this video, who is convinced a Border Collie is his MAMA! And the poor Border Collie is all, “HUH?”
@firstdatejunkie What should we name him? #babycrow #bordercollie #birdsoftiktok

I love how in the beginning, the baby crow looks like he’s trying to eat the Border Collie’s face and the confused pup looks so distressed. The little crow just keeps pushing it until he decides to make the MONUMENTALLY POOR decision of jumping on the dog’s back, which, of course, pushes the pup right over the edge.
To be fair, this looks like a sweet and kind Border Collie, and I’ll bet if this dog knew what to do, he’d happily parent that little crow. In fact, Border Collies are so smart, he could probably enroll in Avian Parenting School for one day and know everything about parenting a crow there is to know!

Seriously, Border Collies are the “brainiacs of the dog world.” They are considered by many to be the most intelligent and trainable dog breed.
During my many years in animal shelters, we’d always tremble slightly whenever we’d get a Border Collie in. Don’t get me wrong! They were sweet and fun to work with, but most of them could not be kenneled! They could work their way out of anything!
The kennel staff would leave them in a kennel, and the next morning, they’d be out cooking eggs in the staff kitchen: a frying pan in one paw and a Rubix cube they’re solving in the other!

The user who posted the video on Tik Tok seems to have decided to keep the crow, so you’ll have to stay tuned to find out if the dog figures the whole thing out! Odds are definitely in this intelligent animal’s favor. Too adorable!
