Bringing home a second pet can be a big decision, but almost everyone says it’s one of the greatest things they’ve ever done. I would know! My Siberian Husky mix plays so much more now that he has a little brother to chase and bother, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Cat mom Radeyah is in the middle of a similar transition as her new kitten, Tyger, settles into his forever home with his new big brother, Coco the tabby cat. They fight and argue, like brothers do, but at the end of the day, Tyger looks up to his brother like no one else. He even copies his every move!
Their relationship is just as cute as it sounds, but Tyger had a hilarious mishap while copying his brother on July 6 that left his fans in stitches. Fortunately, Radeyah was there to capture the incident and its aftermath on film. Don’t worry—no cats were harmed in the making of this video!

Oh no, poor baby! This excited kitten was so happy to be a part of his brother’s neighborhood watch program, but he never considered that he might not be able to reach the windowsill. At least he’s a cat, and cats always land on their feet!
“OMG, his little meow,” one commenter gushed. It sounded so pathetic! It surprised everyone when the tabby kitten took a tumble, but the good news is that he wasn’t hurt, and he had his entire family rushing to his rescue.

Viewers adored “how quickly big brother hopped down to check on him,” and so did I. These cat brothers truly care about one another! Even though they get on each other’s nerves sometimes (siblings, am I right?), they’ve already bonded so much despite meeting only recently.
It truly doesn’t get much sweeter than this!
Bringing Home a Second Cat
This hilarious kitty mishap perfectly encapsulates what it’s like to have two cats at home. There will be plenty of chaos and shenanigans, but there will be so much love and sweetness, too!
Just like any fur siblings, Tyger and Coco had an adjustment period before they became BFFs. It’s often recommended to give a new cat or kitten their own space for a few days while they decompress, then offer the cats the chance to get closer. Don’t force them to interact!
Cats are often curious about their new friends and will set the pace of their own introduction. Letting them take their time will keep everyone relaxed and comfortable, which gives their long-term relationship a much better chance to thrive.
With some patience and love, any feline siblings can become the best of friends, just like Coco and Tyger!
