Let’s all reflect on all of the parties we’ve been to during the course of our lives. Maybe there was excellent food or the music selection was on point. Maybe you made some great lifelong friends or even found a love connection. Some really dull parties you couldn’t wait to get out of.
OK, so back to the good ones. Think of the best party you’ve ever been to. Are you picturing it? Feeling those vibes? Remember how great it was? Check out these adorable lunatics! They’re knocking over furniture! They’re chewing on plants! They’re climbing on tables! They’re doing that thing that really drunk frat boys do when they both run across the room and full on crash into each other for no apparent reason. They are completely unhinged and so ridiculously huggable even while causing mass amounts of chaos and destruction.
Can a baby raccoon ever do *anything* anyone would get mad at them about? Nope! I’ve done years and years and years of research, scouring the world for evidence and it’s not possible.

Anyway, like I was saying: the party is raging, the baby raccoons are off the hook, but then Mom shows up! *Dun dun dun, cue scary music* Surely she’ll get her babies in line! What’s this?!? Nope! She’s ready to party, too! Mom joins in. Wrestling ensues. She does try to calm them down a bit, but it’s pointless.

So today we were presented with some lessons: No matter how much fun you ever have, baby raccoons have more. Also, you will always be held accountable for your poor decisions in life while the baby raccoon skates away consequence-free.
