Does your fur baby have something that they’re afraid of? Our year-old Pit Bull is still terrified of the vacuum cleaner, even though we vacuum every day because she sheds so much! Golden Retriever Teddy also has a fear, and it’s one that he’s willing to overcome to get to his favorite stuffie.
Teddy is afraid of baskets, but when he discovers that his stuffie, Lamb Chop, has been placed in one with some blankets, he knows he has to rescue her. So, he gathers his courage and sets out to save her! Make sure your sound is on because the accompanying music is perfect for the task at hand.
@aguyandagolden Teddy will face any fear for Lamb Chop. #dog #goldenretriever
Mission impossible accomplished! Teddy was so brave, and facing his fears paid off. Teddy’s fans all loved the cute video. @Alise shared, “Teddy is such a loyal pup! His bravery for Lamb Chop is heartwarming.” @A Nonymous agreed, “No mission is too big to save Lamb Chop, no matter what the risk!” @brendapbailey made us laugh when she said, “He was not going to allow the basket to eat his Lamb Chop!”

Can Dogs Have Favorite Toys?
Does your dog have a favorite toy? Our dog’s is a tug-of-war rope that we got at The Dollar Tree for $1.25. We stock up on them so that she always has one!
Many dogs have favorite toys that they carry with them everywhere, sleep with, and snuggle with for comfort. Dogster explains, “Dogs can have favorite toys for the same reason that human children get attached to particular stuffed animals: they provide comfort. Your dog’s favorite toy may be snuggly and plush, providing them with a sense of security and comfort in times of stress. For many dogs just holding something in their mouth is comforting, and they will seek out their favorite toy to carry around whether they are nervous or excited.”
A toy can also turn into a favorite if it’s one that you always play with them with, “Some toys may have significant, positive memories and associations attached to them…This special moment can have a big impact on them and last forever.”
It’s always a good idea to have an extra one of your dog’s favorite toys in case it gets lost or if it gets too old and starts to fall apart. We learned this lesson the hard way!
