In a rather disturbing bit of news, an animal trainer and his girlfriend have been arrested after being linked to the deaths of at least 10 dogs that died while under their care.
According to police, this Irvine, California-based animal trainer, attempted to “destroy the evidence” of his animal cruelty by “dropping off the dogs’ bodies at different crematoriums.” The authorities are still investigating this matter.
According to this video, this trainer, who goes by the name Tony, told one dog parent that their fur child “had died in its sleep.” Tony then took it upon himself to dispose of the dog’s body by creating their body.
This raised all sorts of alarm bells, and it wasn’t long until the police began investigating Tony and discovered that at least 10 different dog parents had reported that their canine companions died under Tony’s care.

The authorities were able to recover several of these dogs’ remains from different crematoriums and are testing them to determine their causes of death.
Tony and his girlfriend have been booked into jail on charges of animal cruelty and destruction of evidence, according to the report in this video.
According to a separate report, the authorities are unsure if these dogs’ deaths were accidental or if Tony and his girlfriend intentionally killed them.
Animal Cruelty Laws in California
It is a crime to mistreat or harm animals in the state of California. That includes killing, torturing, wounding, mutilating, and maiming an animal.
That harm includes not giving an animal the necessary food, shelter, or drink, and properly protecting them from the weather.
These crimes can either be felonies or misdemeanors. Interestingly, the person who is convicted of animal cruelty can legally be charged with another crime if they get another pet.
Someone can also be charged with animal cruelty, whether they had malicious intentions or not. Considering that at least 10 dogs lost their lives under Tony’s care, we think it’s safe to say that he and his girlfriend will pay for their crimes, which are unspeakably horrible.
