Cats are curious, if anything, as the old expression goes. They also have a lot of willpower, insisting on doing what they want. Just take the precious tabby cat, Poppy, for instance.
She absolutely insists on cleaning the tiny foster kittens that live in her house. Actually, the truth is that Poppy does more than merely insist on cleaning them; she is obsessed with cleaning them!
As this video shows, she will tirelessly reach for the doorknob, wanting to get into the room where these foster kittens reside.
And she will not stop staring at her humans until they let her into that room. Her expressions may be cute, but make a mistake, Poppy is demanding to be let into that room!
Once she is inside, Poppy will immediately make her way over to the foster kittens’ enrichment climbing structure. She eagerly greets them, just like they eagerly greet her!

As this video notes, this is Poppy’s “favorite part of the day.” And we can see why; she gets to cuddle up on a nice, comfy cushion with all of these beautiful little foster kittens and lick them clean. Unsurprisingly, this video states that this is these foster kittens’ “favorite part of the day, too!”
This is so overwhelmingly cute that it is now our favorite part of the day as well! We would all be so lucky to have a Poppy and an adorable litter of foster kittens like these in our lives so that we can witness such a joyous, loving spectacle each day!
For those who need any more proof that Poppy’s nurturing love is the best there is, just look at this other video. One of the former foster kittens that Poppy used to take care of, an adorable white cat named Salt, is now fully grown.
And as this video shows, Salt is now a daddy, dutifully taking care of his kittens in much the same way that Poppy took care of him when he was a tiny foster kitten.
It’s just so heartwarming to see that Salt is now a daddy and loving his best life by taking what he learned from Poppy and applying it to his own kittens!
