Someone needs to go check on Gus. It seems like the cat was really not loving drinking from his cat fountain. But apparently that’s an everyday thing. The cat’s dad pointed out that his son always has the meanest mug whenever he’s getting a drink. And people online couldn’t help but laugh.
Gus is a special guy. Of course, the cat has to drink water to survive, but you really wouldn’t believe that he enjoys it by the peculiar look on his face when he takes a sip.

The cat’s dad, Gasper, just had to share a video of the look on his cat’s face at the drinking fountain. It’s so funny.! The cat looks like an old man — or someone who really hates the taste of water. The grimace on his face says it all. He’s so picky! He sort of looks like an old man who’s really not having a great time.

“He looks like Ron Swanson, I can’t explain but he doesss haha,” a third commenter chimed in.

Why Your Cat Won’t Drink Water
Gus is not the only cat who doesn’t love water. Some cats really have a hard time getting their daily H20. If it seems like your cat is drinking less and less water, here are a few reasons why that may be.
The first reason is that your cat might be already be properly hydrated. Cats don’t need as much water as dogs do. So they won’t need to drink as much as you might imagine. Another reason is that their bowl might not be clean enough. Cats like to keep things clean and won’t really enjoy drinking out of a dirty bowl.
There might be health issues, like dental disease or a condition that causes gastrointestinal upset. If you’re really concerned, contact your vet. They’ll make your fur-baby a-okay.
