Kobe and Siggy of Tampa, Florida have the most special relationship and now that bond will help them through the worst. The pair are facing a tough time in their lives. Kobe was diagnosed with bladder cancer recently, which was devastating, even to his cat fur-sibling. And video of the cat trying to soothe the pup is so heartbreaking.
These two have such an incredible bond with each other, they really do. Video from their mama, Emi Tan, shows the animals connecting so deeply after the diagnosis — without saying a word at all.

It’s been a tough time for Kobe. The 11-year-old Bulldog was given the worst news — bladder cancer — but thankfully he has a good support team by his side.
Siggy is a true devotee of the pup. Ever since Tan found the cat, she’s been infatuated with him.

“Kobe literally imprinted on this cat, he thinks it’s a dog,” the text overlay reads. And that deep bond has sustained the two even now after Kobe’s diagnosis. Siggy has been so attentive, it’s like the cat knew something was wrong.
“Siggy has been his shadow since we got the news,” it continues. The clip shows the cat nuzzling the Bulldog’s head before licking it. Siggy was comforting the pup! It was enough to bring their mama to tears.
“Everytime I catch moments like this I cry, but then I remember… That this is the whole point,” she wrote.
It truly is. People in the comments section were just as touched by Siggy and Kobe’s friendship as we were.
“I’m soo sorry for the bad news but I’m soo happy you get these beautiful moments to always remember such beautiful souls,” one person wrote in the comments section.
“Awww that is the best ever. My cats have nothing to do with my dog,” chimed in someone else.
“This is so beautiful, sending love,” added a third person.
“The whole point,” one commenter reiterated.
We wish Kobe nothing but the best on his journey. The road ahead might be scary, but at least he has the most devoted pal by his side.
