There’s nothing as beautiful or as aggravating as the bond between two siblings. One day they’re besties and the next they’re frenemies – or at least that’s what it seems like. Though, family members can always find a way back to loving each other at the end of the day.
Wendy Albright, also known as @theparrotlady on TikTok, can vouch for that. Recently, she gave a peak into her life as a pet mom to Sweet Pea the Cockatoo and Thyme the Parrot. “Here’s one of the rare times they actually seemed to like each other (for about three seconds). Talk about a magical moment! If you’ve ever had the pleasure of having a sibling, then you know that getting on each other’s nerves can be a pastime. When it comes to this duo, Albright gave a bit of background on them explaining, “Thyme and Sweet Pea have always had a complicated relationship. It can be tough adjusting to a newly adopted family member. Luckily, it seems like these two have somewhat worked out their differences. In the video, Thyme is leaning into Sweet Pea. While Sweet Pea looks like they’d rather have some me time and even lifted their leg to potentially push her away, they don’t. Instead, Sweet Pea lets Thyme rest beside them, and that’s progress. Ask any parent.
The kids will fight, and that’s a given in any sibling relationship. And these two have a history of sibling rivalry, but it looks like it’s recently downgraded to just annoying each other.
