Who’s this adorable little land seal? Oh wait, we’re sorry it’s actually Biscuit, the most gentle of dogs. The Dachshund looked so dapper in his little bucket during a recent trip to the beach. It really added to the whole scene. The dog looked so adorably wistful sitting by the water. And now people are obsessed.
The sea can really make you feel a lot of feelings, right? That’s true for Biscuit too! The Dachshund looked like a character in a Wes Anderson movie in the video his human shared online. It’s absolutely precious.

Ahhh to be a Dachshund spending the day by the water. What a precious little guy. We can imagine he spent his day making sandcastles and running into the water. Of course, he needed a little hat to keep him protected from the sun. The hat that his humans chose looks so sweet on him. We love his little bucket hat.

It’s hard to tell if the dog is having a good time by the sea. He looks so melancholy! What a little charmer.
“The sea understands,” his human wrote in the video’s caption.
The comments section was so incredibly smitten with the Dachshund. He really stole some hearts.
“Anyone want to play mermaids with me?” one person asked, as if speaking for the pup.
“I thought it was a sea lion for a moment,” another person admitted.
“The position of the little paw and the way he is looking at you,” someone else gushed.
While someone else joked that this really was a land seal: “Ah yes. The miniature brown land seal. A rare, beautiful species, but dangerous! If you stare into their eyes for too long, their siren song will steal your heart forever,” they teased.
This wasn’t the only time that the dog’s pensive face graced the beach. Biscuit is a regular beach-goer. Every time he heads to the ocean, he has the most serious look on his face.
