A rescued dog named Cactus was perplexed recently when he realized that his human dad, Mike, was mimicking everything he said and did, and their game is cracking people up! Mike and Cactus play a game in which Mike copies everything Cactus does. From barking to looking around, Mike does it all.
The video clip is short, about 20 seconds in total, and you can tell the whole time that Mike is trying not to laugh. Cactus keeps checking to see what Mike’s doing, and it seems the dog’s movements get quicker, as if he’s teasing his dad to keep up!
@cactustherescue Cactus know when I’m mimicking and tries to throw me off!! I was trying so hard not to crack up 🤣
Mike said in the video’s caption, “Cactus knows when I’m mimicking and tries to throw me off!” It seems that Cactus is a pro at this game!
Viewers had a lot to say about the video. @Pepe made everybody laugh when he pointed out, “You didn’t wag your tail.” @Noemi Calipay joked, “Hahahahahaha! No DNA test needed….Cactus got his looks from his Dad LOL!”
@Dennis shared, “Hahahah he’s looking around all confused like Is this really happening right now?!” Another commenter said what Cactus was thinking, “My dad is weird LOL!” @Benny had the same thought, “‘Stop copying me!! No, YOU stop copying me!! OMG DaaaAAaaAad!!!!!’ LOL!” @Hannah added, “‘Dad, stop…you’re embarrassing me in front of everyone…’ ha ha!”

Fun Games to Play with Your Dog
I tried to play this game with my dog, but she just looked at me like I was crazy and wouldn’t play along! If you enjoy spending time with your pooch and playing games, everybody’s first thought is always a game of fetch, but not all dogs are fans of it, especially when it’s so hot outside.
Instead, why not play a game indoors to beat the summer heat. Games like Hide N Seek, Tug of War, or as Oodle Life recommends, The Shell Game. Grab three cups and hide a doggy treat under one of the cups. Shuffle them around and then have your dog choose a cup. If the dog gets the right cup – they get the treat! No cups? Just use your hands instead!
Another fun game they recommend is the towel game. Place a towel or yoga mat on the floor in front of you. Place a single treat right at the end. Next, roll the towel or mat up (like you are rolling up a yoga mat). After each roll, place another treat in the towel for your pooch to find. By the time you roll the whole thing up, there will be enough treats to keep them busy…at least for a few minutes!
