Is it just us or have you noticed that some dogs are sort of…awk? Not in a bad way! But in a way that you can tell they’re a little offbeat. One dog had people absolutely cracking up with the way he was just a wee bit uncomfortable sitting at the kitchen table. And video of the pupper has now gone viral online.
The little guy is the definition of awkward. Seriously. It’s like he’s just waiting for someone to come over and talk to him.

Someone go over to the dog with some ice breaker questions — STAT. The poor pup looked so lonely in the video his owner shared. No one was around the pup as he sat patiently at the table.

Not even the family cat was playing with him. It was like he was at a party and didn’t know anyone. Maybe the dog was a little shy? Or maybe he was hoping that someone would start the conversation first.
People in the comments section couldn’t help but laugh. We all know someone like this sweet pupper.
“When it’s just you and your friend’s dad at the table,” joked one person in the comments section.
“Worked second shift with him back in ‘87. Good dude,” teased another person.
“He had a long day at work and dinner still isn’t ready,” kidded someone else.
“He already looks fed up with what you haven’t even yet said,” quipped one commenter.
Awkward Dog Breeds
This dog isn’t the only pooch out there that is sort of goofy. In fact there are lots of dogs that are downright awkward. Here are just a few that are a wee bit strange.
As adorable as they may be, Basset Hounds can be clumsy guys. They’re even known for tripping on their own ears. Because of their size, Saint Bernards can also be a little goofy. Keep them away from delicate furniture or little children so they don’t knock them down. Dachshunds aren’t awkward by nature, but their long and squat bodies do make them sort of funny to look at. They are adorable in their off-beat ways.
Of course, it doesn’t really matter if your pup is awkward or not. They’re still lovable in every way!
