Dogs love swimming pools. They also love water floaties. This is not surprising, considering that they are incredibly curious, playful creatures.
The only problem is that sometimes our canine companions get a little too carried away by their playful nature and end up destroying their delicate toys.
That’s what happened with Tyson’s watermelon pool floaty. But of course, with summer here, Tyson’s human mama could not let her precious Husky-mix fur baby go without a proper pool toy.
So, she got him a new one, and the result was an epic pool-going adventure!
Initially, Tyson, who loves going in the pool, would not go all the way in without his watermelon floaty. He protested its absence by sitting on the pool steps, waiting for his human mama to get him a new one.
And she did. The shenanigans started while she was attempting to blow up the new pool float. Of course, Tyson had to inspect this new floaty to make sure it was up to his standards.
First, he made sure that this new float could pass the dig test, digging into it like there was no tomorrow.
After that, it was time to get out on the water, and although this new floaty seemed all right, Tyson did struggle a bit with his sea legs.

Eventually, Tyson’s human mama got him in the floaty back out of the pool and put his life vest on him before sending him back out onto the water.
He had a great time, even after he fell overboard and began swimming around in the pool like he was an adorable little furry shark.
Later on, his mom took the float out of the pool and filled it up with water so that Tyson could lounge around in it, cooling off at his leisure.
As this other video shows, Tyson also has plenty of summertime fun outside of the pool. His mama got him a water rocket that attaches to the hose and blasts off into the air using the hose water as “fuel.”
This one definitely kept him entertained for quite some time. Tyson wasn’t quite able to figure out the “sorcery” behind this one.
But he did look incredibly adorable, biting at the water as it shot up into the air and watching the rocket come down again as its fuel ran out. We think it’s safe to say that the dog days of summer are a wonderful time for Tyson!
