It’s not just companionship that makes dogs man’s best friend. It’s all their little quirks too! Every pet owner knows all the ins and outs of raising their dog. Just take how smitten one pet parent is with the way their Dachshund walks. The pup has the cutest “grandma-like” waddle. And seeing the dog make its way around the yard is touching hearts.
Like every dog mama, Miriam was watching as her precious Doxie was out in the yard. What a cutie! The pup even has a very distinct walk. It’s just the most precious little waddle, which luckily the woman caught on camera for the rest of us to enjoy.

You know it’s going to be a good day when your dog gets to pad around the back yard. And this Doxie is just too adorable. The clip shows the dog spending a little time on her paved patio. She even has a very special way that she likes to get around.

“She only walks on the little path. I’m crying,” her mama wrote in the video’s text overlay.
“I LOVE HER,” the proud Dachshund parent added in the caption.
Miriam isn’t the only one who is totally smitten with the Dachshund. Other commenters were so in love with the little dog too.
“I’m going to need to see more of this sweet baby immediately,” wrote one person.
“I can’t, she’s a little old pookie,” someone else praised.
“She’s protecting you by avoiding the cracks,” a third commenter added.
“Is this a Doxie thing? I have two of the little rascals and they will go out of their way to stay on a proper walking path lol,” commented one person.

It might not truly be a Doxie thing, but it is so stinkin’ cute! We have to think every moment with this gentle pupper is such a joy. Even the little things are truly precious. Just like her sweet grandma-like walk!
