Even the most well-behaved children can get a little too caught up in having fun, but this is normal. Part of growing up is learning new skills, exploring the world, and testing boundaries, but there’s always that one child who pushes their parents’ buttons as often as they can.
Moms and dads from other species know how tricky this can be, too! On July 1, a Texas nail artist spotted a duck family experiencing an iconic parenting moment at the backyard pool, and people can’t get over it. While most of the ducklings followed their parents out of the pool, one baby duck was having the time of his life with his priceless pool zoomies.
@joaana.g That little duck was having the time of his life 🤣😆#foru
OMG, look at him go! I looked long and hard for a jet in the pool that might be making him spin in circles, but I couldn’t find anything obvious propelling him. Is this really an adventurous duckling, or is this the Energizer Bunny?
“They told him he had 1 minute before they’re leaving,” one commenter joked. This little baby bird is making the most of every second! While he’s having a ‘look at me’ moment, though, his parents’ priceless facial expressions tell the rest of the story.

Other viewers noticed this, too. One person even wrote, “The ducks are looking at each other like ‘get your kid.'” Parents know this look when they see it!
While the duck parents plan the best course of action (that doesn’t include letting the rest of the baby ducks back in the pool), this energetic cutie is in his own little world. Plenty of viewers admitted that they’d never seen duck zoomies before, and now that I think about it, neither have I!
There’s a first for everything, though, whether it’s watching a duckling spin in circles or having a face-to-face interaction with a mama grizzly bear and her cubs. You truly never know what’s in store with wild animals around!
