A video online is showing the extreme lengths one pair of dog parents went through to care for their pet! Triscuit isn’t exactly the biggest fan of getting his nails cut — and that’s putting it lightly. It’s actually sort of a problem for the pup, so much so that his humans had to come up with a very creative solution on how to get the job done. And now their handy work has people cracking up online.
The contraption the pet lovers came up with to get Triscuit’s nails cut is beyond anything we’ve ever seen. But if you have a dog, you’ll inherently understand the thought process here. Sometimes you have to go the extra-mile.

Call this a feat of pet engineering. The video shows the French Bulldog in his “harness of shame” while two humans slide a pole into the straps to lift him up. They then hang him from two step ladders, making it so that the pup couldn’t wiggle his way free.
“Triscuit does not like the nail clippers,” the video’s onscreen caption reads.

Okay, we hate to say it but the video is a little bit funny. People in the comments section couldn’t help but crack up at the Frenchie. Sorry, Triscuit! You’re just too adorable, Buddy.

“Treating it like Hannibal Lecter,” joked one person.
“That little potato wriggling,” someone else teased.
“Is Triscuit an Avengers level threat? Why must there be such a cautionary procedure?” another commenter joked.
“Knew as soon as you picked ‘em up what was gonna happen,” chimed in one commenter.
Tips for Trimming Your Dog’s Nails
It’s a chore that no pet parent really likes to do, but it’s important to keep your pet’s nails nice and trim. If taking them to the groomer isn’t an option, try letting your dog explore the nail clippers before using them. You can also let them hear the sound of the clippers or touch the clippers (while they’re off) to get them acclimated.
Go slowly. It’s better to go slow and steady than to rush through it! And don’t forget — a treat after a job well done can go a long way.
