Walter Geoffrey is an internet-famous French Bulldog known for being very vocal and having big feelings about everything. In June, his mom brought home a new puppy for him to meet, and his stunned and silent reaction has everyone in stitches.
The video begins with the fluffy puppy poking their head out of the carrier that mom brought them home in. Walter walks up to check out the pup, and the look on his face says it all!

What makes this video so funny is that Walter is never quiet; he always has something to say! But in this instance, he’s shocked into silence by the uninvited guest, and the look on his face lets us all know he is not impressed with the puppy at all!

Fluffy French Bulldogs

Thought they’re very cute, long hair French Bulldogs are not recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC), according to Frenchie FAQ. They say that long hair is “considered a fault in the breed standard. French Bulldogs should have a short and smooth coat that is shiny and lustrous. The skin of the breed should be soft and loose, especially around the head and shoulders, forming wrinkles.”
The article goe3s on to explain, “Any coat other than short and smooth is considered a disqualification by the AKC, which means that Fluffy French Bulldogs cannot be registered with the organization. The AKC recognizes and promotes the French Bulldog breed’s unique and characteristic features, and any deviation from these traits is not considered ideal.”
Whether the AKC recognizes the fluffy Frenchies or not, it doesn’t seem to be making them any less popular with the French Bulldog crowd. Hopefully Walter will get used to the new baby soon; even though mom told him they were only babysitting, it’s clear now that the puppy isn’t going anywhere!
