A dog’s definition of fun may overlap a lot with their owner’s, but there are some areas where people and pups don’t see eye to eye. For humans, a mud bath is a luxurious (and often expensive) spa experience with skin-enhancing benefits, but for dogs, a mud bath is one big party!
For the perfect proof, look no further than Whiskey the German Shepherd. This older gal may have a silver-speckled face and a majestic, graceful air about her, but even she can’t resist a romp in the mud.
While staying at a pet hotel during her parents’ out-of-town trip, this lovely lady got herself and her caretakers in a bit of trouble. She couldn’t resist taking a dip in the rich, cool mud, turning herself into a living mud monster in the process. Some viewers couldn’t even tell what breed of dog was beneath all that mud!

OMG, Whisky doesn’t joke around when it comes to mud baths! She covered every square inch of her fur in gooey mud, and she doesn’t have a single regret. As far as she’s concerned, she’s having the best day ever!
Whiskey’s mud clogged the pet hotel’s drain and got her human friends in trouble, but everything is alright again after one look at the happy dog’s face. How could you not forgive her?

“Nope. We need more parts,” one commenter begged. “I need the reaction, the shake, the bath, and telling her mom!”
While we didn’t get any of those golden moments, we did get another peek from Parkway Pet Lodge in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, just before the silly German Shepherd turned into a mud monster. Her caretaker’s commentary is legendary!

This poor woman! She knows what a hassle it’s going to be to clean up all this mud, but she still lets Whiskey have her fun. If only we got to see how her colleague reacted when he walked in on the chaos, then the shenanigans would be complete!
Cleaning a muddy dog is tricky enough as it is, but the extra hassle of this not being her dog or her home must have had this canine caretaker stressed out. She deserves a major round of applause for helping Whisky back to her normal, clean state!
