Dogs are naturally curious about the world around them. They love to go on car rides, take trips to a new dog park, and sniff all the new smells on a walk around the neighborhood. Well, sometimes their curiosity gets them into things that they shouldn’t be in, and for their parents, the results can be both frustrating and hilarious!
In a recent Instagram post, @goldenboyvinnie shared an epic video highlighting the dangers of leaving your pups unattended! At first, all you can see is a tube of red paint that’s clearly been mistaken for a snack! Slowly, she zooms in on Vinnie, her 9-month-old Golden Retriever, who is peeking his head out of a doorway down the hall. It’s obvious that he is trying to avoid his mom!
Eventually, he succumbs to her calls, and as he emerges from the doorway we can see why he was hiding in shame—he is covered in red paint! There is no denying his involvement in the mystery of the chewed-up paint tube, as the evidence is written all over his face and paws—literally all over!
It seems that Vinnie helped himself to the arts and crafts supplies, albeit without permission, and now he’s wearing the red paws of shame! His human implies that it will be several weeks before the paint fully comes out of his fur. How many baths do you think he’ll need in order to restore his beautiful English Cream Retriever coat?

Vinnie has a big following, and many of his fans left some laughable comments! Here are a few of the highlights:
“He just wanted to be Clifford! LOL!”
“We are his representation and all of the claims you made are alleged. He was with us the whole time, LOL!”
“GURL! Those are the new Louboutin’s from the winter collection!”
“Am I the only one who thought that was a chewed-up bone and he is covered in blood? Yikes, I need to stop watching true crime, LOL!”
Several fans suggested that this silly pup was related to a very famous painter, and they started calling him Vincent Van Dog! Truthfully, we think the name suits him pawfectly!
