There’s nothing worse than seeing our fur babies down or in pain, especially when you don’t know the reason why. At the end of May, Tucker the Golden Retriever’s pawrents shared a video that clearly shows Tucker was in pain, and they were frantic because they didn’t know what had caused it.
They said they could tell by the look in the Golden’s eyes that he was in a lot of pain, and they felt helpless not knowing what was wrong. They took the dog to the vet, but the vet couldn’t find anything wrong with him. Knowing that they couldn’t let Tucker continue to suffer, they decided to try taking him to a dog chiropractor to get an adjustment. What happened immediately after the appointment was life-changing for him!

We had no idea what was going on, and of course, our minds went to the worst-case scenario. The look in Tucker’s eyes told us he was in a lot of pain, and we felt helpless not knowing what was wrong. It was such a relief to see the light come back into his eyes after his chiropractic adjustment…the difference was immediate. We still don’t know exactly what happened, but we think he may have jumped off the bed and landed wrong, possibly throwing his neck or back out and pinching a nerve. That would explain the sudden pain and stiffness. We’re just so grateful he’s doing better now. He has a few more adjustments scheduled to support his healing, and we’re hopeful he’ll be back to swimming soon! We did have to take Gator back home so Tucker could rest, which means a few fun videos we planned will have to wait. But Tucker’s health always comes first 🩵

They went on to explain they still have no idea what happened, “We still don’t know exactly what happened, but we think he may have jumped off the bed and landed wrong, possibly throwing his neck or back out and pinching a nerve. That would explain the sudden pain and stiffness.”
They also say that Tucker will need a few more adjustments to get back to normal, but he’s doing so much better now. You can tell just by watching the end of the video!
