If you have more than one pet, then you know they aren’t merely housemates, they’re siblings. Sometimes in the most hilariously adorable way. They snuggle together, they eat together — they even roughhouse together! Okay, that last one isn’t always a good thing. Just take a look at the way one Black Lab put his Golden Retriever sibling “on the menu.” And it has people online cracking up.
Someone feed this poor pup! He must be feeling peckish because he’s been snacking on the Golden’s head.

The Golden Retriever was minding his own business when his Labrador Retriever came over for a “snack.” The Black Lab came over, opened his jaws, and then placed the Golden’s head in his mouth. Thankfully, it was all in good fun. No Golden Retrievers were harmed in the making of this video. The Lab soon released the Golden’s head from its grasp. No harm done!

“They really know how to get on each other’s nerves,” their mama joked in the video’s caption.
The comments section couldn’t help but laugh at these two.
“Here, I’ll hold your head still,” joked one person, as if speaking for the Lab.
“He’s so unfazed clearly this is an ordinary occurrence,” teased another commenter.
“Couldn’t imagine a more accurate depiction of siblings,” chimed in someone else.
And just in case you were worried for the Golden: “This is a dog’s way of showing affection btw if anyone’s curious lol. He loves him,” one commenter pointed out.
Roughhousing With Dogs
Play for dogs is so important. It can do so much for them! But when it comes to roughhousing, is there such thing as too much? Roughhousing is perfectly normal for dogs. But some pet owners might worry that roughhousing can lead to aggression.
Wrestling with your dog won’t necessarily cause aggression, but you do need to teach your dog bite inhibition so that they learn boundaries. Commands and training can help keep them from learning the wrong lessons. It’s all to say that you shouldn’t discourage your dog from roughhousing — unless they’re trying to snack on their fur-sibling. Then maybe it’s time to step in!
