It is always heartbreaking when an animal is abandoned by their humans. It’s just so awful to see a helpless little fur baby so utterly rejected and disrespected like that.
It’s not just about these vulnerable creatures losing access to food and shelter, but also what this abandonment costs them in terms of emotional connection. They trusted their humans, and these humans betrayed them.
Thankfully, there are also kindhearted humans to rescue these poor animals because they truly care about their well-being. Just take the gorgeous cat that was rescued by his neighbor after his former humans abandoned him when they moved away.
As this video asks, “Can you imagine abandoning this perfect angel?” If you’re anything like us, this is just impossible to fathom. And just look at how loving and adorable this precious little feline baby is as he wiggles around on the grass and paws about.
Isn’t he just as cute as can be?
He kind of seems like a Maine Coon-mix, possibly. But whatever breed he is does not matter. He is clearly just a loving little guy who wants to play. He is just an innocent animal that has been hurt by human carelessness, and that is unacceptable.

Thankfully, the kindhearted woman behind this video was not willing to stand by and simply watch as this precious little angel was abandoned. As this video’s caption notes, “don’t worry, baby… We got you.”
Seriously, if a sweet, fluffy, playful kitty like this guy can’t find a loving home, then there is no justice in this world.
Less than a day later, the same woman posted an update. In this new video, he shared that this precious little guy got to enjoy catnip for the first time. Obviously, this footage is as adorable as can be and instantly approaches total cuteness overload territory.
The video also added that his previous humans, in addition to abandoning him, likely neglected him, if they had never given him catnip before. This update ends with her adding that this little guy, “we’ll never know life like that ever again.”
She ends the video by noting that her family will either foster him until they can find him a new loving home, or they will keep him themselves. There were numerous calls in the comments section for this woman to keep this adorable cat herself.
While we do not know what her situation is, she clearly cares about this cat, and he’s clearly comfortable with her and already living a life with her that is better than what he ever experienced with his previous humans.
Hopefully, this little guy will become the newest member of her family!
