Recently, a horse named Chip couldn’t wait to meet the newest baby donkey on the ranch, Frosty. And their interaction is too cute for words!

How can anyone not say, “Aww,” when watching Chip greet Frosty? @mikaylas_ranch_life gushed in the post caption, “I just can’t get over how cute this is!” Agreed!
Apparently, Chip was anxious to make a new friend. “Chip has been pacing back and forth watching Frosty, so I introduced them,” described the video overlay.
Clearly, dogs aren’t the only ones who greet each other with playful sniffs. Horses do, too. And Chip’s gentle sniffs while meeting Frosty are the most adorable thing. According to PetMD, this is how horses show affection or interest in other animals.

This moment is so precious that it has commenters obsessed with Chip. “And now I’m in love with a horse named Chip! The little whiskers. Not to mention his gorgeous head!” @hayyyhef playfully wrote. But who could blame them?
Though, viewers aren’t only raving over Chip. In the video, you can hear the call of another donkey in the background. “I think somebody’s feeling left out!” added @laurabeth.lb, and they were right. @mikaylas_ranch_life told commenters that that somebody was Frosty’s dad Dominic.
“Good thing dad didn’t overreact,” joked @savannahrae63. Well, he was just looking out for his kiddo.
Honestly, Frosty already has his ranch family members wrapped around his hooves. The proof is in this other video which shows his human family letting him play indoors while dad’s away.
