Many younger siblings just love their big brothers and sisters. Why wouldn’t they? The older kids know the ropes and will even spoil the younger ones more than most. Oftentimes, the eldest become their favorite person, and the same can be said for pet siblings, too.
That can even go for siblings from different breeds, and it’s so sweet to see these unique relationships. One pair that has caught my attention is a Pit Bull called Wyatt and a Shih-Tzu named Mabel. Watching them together in this video posted to the @mabeltzu Instagram page is the definition of cuteness overload.
This tiny puppy cannot get enough of playing with Wyatt! If you’re an older sibling, you know all too well the responsibility of caring for a young one, and Wyatt takes his role as a big brother seriously. As the caption confirms, “Wyatt has the patience of a saint with his new baby sister.” It’s obvious he loves Mabel, and she’s clearly smitten and wants all of his time.
Every big brother or sister knows exactly how Wyatt feels when the littles want to play. In the video, this energetic pup is all up on Wyatt. She’s barking, licking, cuddling, and generally taking up all of his attention.
As much as his face may be saying, “Calm down, sis,” Wyatt keeps his cool as he lets Mabel burn out her energy. Toward the end of the video, she’s so comfortable with her bro, it looks like she’s going to take a nap right under him. Though, who wouldn’t be comfortable falling asleep with this lovable Pit Bull watching over you?

And commenters can’t get enough of these two. @milliemalshi gushed over the Pit Bull and wrote, “Oh Wyatt, what a good boy you are.”
@blooming_shenanigans added, “This is precious! She looks like she’s telling Wyatt secrets.”
But Mabel isn’t the only sibling that gets quality time with Wyatt. Just look at him interacting with another sibling, Gladys, in this video that proves Wyatt was meant to be a big brother.
