Teachers shape our lives in the most beautiful ways, but we learn just as much outside of school as we do in it. Lessons and mentors come in all shapes and sizes, which can be true whether you’re a human or an animal.
Just ask Roo and Boo the Cockatoos! (And then try saying that five times fast.) These birdie brothers only recently met when Roo came home for the very first time, but big brother Boo loved him right away. The confident white Cockatoo wasted no time starting their first dance lessons, and the pink baby bird is already feeling the rhythm!
Try not to melt when you see just how happy these birds are together. You’ll be smiling from ear to ear!
@birdsinthedoghouse Introducing the newest “little” in the house, baby “Roo”! Roo is a Rose-Breasted Cockatoo (Galah) indigenous to Australia. Roo is already loved and will be provided the best of the best. ❤️#love #parrots #parrot #birdlover #birdsinthedoghouse #talkingparrot #cockatoo #rooandboo
Isn’t Roo absolutely precious? His beautiful pink feathers are eye-catching and adorable, but his teeny tiny head bobs are part of the video. Before we know it, though, he’ll be head-banging and rocking out just like Boo the Cockatoo!
“I have two rescue Cockatoos,” one commenter gushed. “They are beautiful parrots.” They really are! From snow-white birds like Boo to rainbow-colored Macaws, these unique, and often talkative, birds, always know how to put on a show.
Their personalities and dancing are just the cherries on top! No two pet birds are the same, and they’ll keep their humans on their toes regardless of their age, species, or history. This irresistible pink baby bird and his brother are the perfect examples.
Bonding With Baby Birds
There are many ways for people, and even other birds, to bond with baby birds like Roo. The easiest way is simply interacting with them like they’re doing in this video! Participating in playtime, offering snacks, and getting them used to human touch can be a win-win for both parties.
Of course, if all else fails, you can have a dance party like these brothers. If this is the kind of bond these feathered friends have after recently meeting, just think of how close they’ll be after hundreds, even thousands, of dance lessons!
