Rise and shine, little pup! One woman couldn’t help but laugh at the serious side-eye her dog was giving her after she woke him up at the crack of dawn. Not even the promise of going fishing could cheer the silver Lab up. He was so annoyed by the early morning call time. And his adorable sass is cute beyond words.
Walter isn’t really a morning guy, can you tell? The silver Lab looked seriously peeved in the video his mama shared. It probably doesn’t help that she dressed him up for his big adventure either.

At least Walter looked absolutely adorable in his fishing vest. But inside we can tell that he’s secretly wishing for just 10 more minutes of sleep. The Labrador Retriever was not happy.
“Good morning, Walter,” his mama said in the clip. She told the silver Lab that she was “so sorry” that she had to get him up so early to go fishing.

“I know, you gotta get up early,” she told him. “It’s time to go fishing with Papa,” she explained.
Of course a positive attitude goes a long way — even when you’re a dog.
“You gotta get rid of the crankies before you go,” she told the Lab. “It’s gonna be a fun day,” she promised.
Hmmm, Walter doesn’t seem entirely convinced. It seems like he’s ready to sneak off back to bed.
Walter has tons of fans online who completely understood his early morning angst. And many people thought Walter was the perfect image of a grumpy old man.
“Someone get our boy a cup of coffee stat,” wrote one person.
