When I was a child, begging my parents for a dog, I didn’t fully understand all that was required to care for a pet. I figured feeding them, walking them, and cleaning up the yard would be all I’d need to do, but once we brought our rescue dog home, I learned of all the little things that pet parents do for their furry friends.
Some tasks, like brushing our dog’s fur, were straightforward, but I remember just how much we struggled while learning how to bathe him. It took several tries before we figured out what works! Thanks to our efforts, though, I can truly appreciate dogs who love baths, like the viral sensation @cocoadreamboat, AKA George the sassy Shih-Tzu.
On May 30, George went viral yet again thanks to his magnificent bathtime vibes. Not only is his spa-like setup the envy of all dogs, but his long, chocolate colored fur reminds viewers of a certain Wookiee, too!

If I didn’t know better, I’d say it’s Chewbacca’s spa day! This tiny dog certainly has a Wookiee-like face and coat, but I’m not sure if Han Solo’s BFF would ever be this much of a diva.

Oddly enough, this sweet video went viral for two separate reasons. George’s spa-day routine is one, of course, but another TikTok user’s uncanny drawing is the other!
Here’s what happened: an artist named Mads saw this video and felt inspired to draw George in all his sopping wet glory. Sadly, their timeline refreshed before they could even write down the bathing pup’s name, so all they had to remember him by was a mysterious, and hilarious, drawing.

Finally, all the dots have been connected! This saga kept dog lovers and Star Wars fans on their toes from start to finish, but it’s nice to see this one-of-a-kind pup getting the attention he deserves.
