What’s sweeter than watching a mama play with her new baby? Watching Mama play with five babies! The Saint Louis Zoo welcomed five new residents on May 25th when their cheetah named Cora gave birth to quintuplet cubs. The family has been staying behind the scenes while the new mama cares for the brood, and the Zoo shared an update on them that is the cutest thing you’ll watch today.
The Zoo has fittingly nicknamed the family ‘Cora’s Quints’ and shared that they are all doing well and growing fast. In the video’s caption, the Zoo shared, “Playtime is serious business for these siblings, from wrestling matches and tail-chasing to playing ‘king of the hill’ on the back of their attentive mom Cora.” They definitely keep their mama busy!

It’s always such a joy to watch baby animals play, especially when Cora had so many of them! In another video that announced the cubs’ birth, the Zoo shared, “These cuties are the first litter for parents Cora and Vader and the first successful cheetah births at the Zoo in more than seven years. “Cora’s Quints” are all doing well bonding with mom in a private maternity den at the Zoo.”
They added, “This crew will be named once Zoo vets determine each cub’s sex in the coming weeks.” I hope they host a fun contest or something that allows fans to help name the babies. People always come up with really cute and clever names and since five babies need to be named, the Zoo could use all the help they can get!
