If you’ve ever adopted a cat, you know what a daunting process it can be. Male or female? Kitten or adult? One or two? Or twelve? (Just kidding! As tempting as it can be, you definitely should NOT be getting twelve. Sigh.)
If you have other pets at home, considerations have to be made there, as well. Then there’s just the overall process of finding *the* one who jives with you and/or your family (and other pets) overall, which is the hardest part.
And then you walk into a place like Crumbs and Whiskers Cat Cafe and see this gorgeous, smart looking boy named ‘Albert Einstein,’ and he’s wearing a bow tie, for crying out loud! He’s all wide-eyed, and he looks like he’s doing complex mathematical equations in his head. His fur looks as soft as cashmere, and everything you *thought* you knew about adopting a cat goes right out the window.

What a fox! Somebody will be very lucky taking home this guy. Albert Einstein just came to the United States from Qatar, which suffers from a serious cat overpopulation problem. It is estimated that there are approximately 3 million stray cats there. Cats outnumber the human population by roughly 3 to 1. The crisis there dates back to the 1960s, when the cats were brought in to combat a rodent infestation.
