We all have a favorite guilty pleasure meal or snack, you know, the one that you dream about and crave when you’re hungry. Cali the Pit Bull does too; she LOVES Del Taco tacos, and when she hears the word ‘tacos’ she immediately gets excited!
Cali’s mom shared a video at the beginning of June of what happens when they take her on a walk, heading to Del Taco, but not telling her about the surprise. When Cali realizes where they are, she immediately heads for the door, knowing her favorite tacos are just on the other side. Watch as Cali anxiously and excitedly waits for Dad to bring the goods to the table – she doesn’t leave one crumb uneaten!

I feel like it’s safe to say that most of us feel this way about tacos! Viewers of Cali’s video felt the same way and left close to 600 comments about the happy snacking Pit Bull. @ChristmasC admits, “This is how I feel about tacos too!! Twinsies!!”

Another commenter shared this cute story, “A cat I used to have acted this way when she smelled McDonald’s. We thought she must’ve lived out of their dumpster at some point or something! We always had to give her a tiny French fry tax (and throw the bag and wrappers away outside so she wouldn’t break into the trash can for it)!”

Should Dogs Eat Fast Food?
There’s nothing wrong with feeding your dog an occasional treat, right? I mean, we all need them. Whether it’s tacos or a sweet dessert, you’ve got to have that occasional guilty pleasure! But feeding your dog fast food, junk food, or too many treats regularly is probably not the best thing for them.
As Doggy Saurus said, “You don’t need to be a vet or a canine nutritionist to agree with me, it’s just common sense… the nutritional value of any fast food is extremely low and should not be part of a dog’s diet.” Not to mention, it can cause a lot of upset tummies or worse.
Long story short, if it’s not good for us, it’s definitely not good for them!
